Implementation Manager
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to lead the on-site execution of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) projects. This role requires hands-on involvement in project scheduling, quality control, and customer communication, ensuring successful system installation, commissioning, and user training. The Implementation Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve technical issues, gather and analyze customer requirements, and contribute to product and process improvements. A strong technical foundation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel internationally are essential for success in this position.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in project implementation.
- Proficient in AGV route planning, site configuration, system commissioning, on-site installation, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of computer systems (Linux, Windows), basic automation principles, hardware, software, and networking.
- Skilled in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Ability to independently configure and apply AGV system parameters.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills for on-site issues and customer requirements.
- Willing to travel internationally for extended periods and work under high-pressure environments.
- Basic English communication skills for internal collaboration and customer interactions.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute the project plan, focusing on on-site implementation services. Assist in managing project schedules, controlling quality, and monitoring costs.
- Maintain close communication with customers, fostering strong cooperative relationships to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, software and hardware R&D, and production team to implement the project. Develop and improve product documents, supporting the continuous iteration of products and projects.
- Address and resolve on-site issues during the implementation phase and keep records. Conduct demand investigations and analysis, and produce standardized demand analysis documents.
- For issues requiring assistance from other teams, accurately identify the problem, and provide supporting documentation if needed.
- Execute the installation, configuration, and implementation of system software and hardware at customer sites. Provide customer training and ensure timely response to service requests.
- Assist with system testing and contribute to the creation of user manuals.
- Continuously learn about the business needs and software technologies relevant to the target customer industry, and generate technical documents to submit to R&D teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Automation, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in implementation roles.
- Proficient in AGV route mapping, site configuration, commissioning, and on-site AGV installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with general computer system (Linux, Windows), basic automation, software, hardware, networking, and proficient in computer-aided drawing software.
- Ability to independently configure and apply various parameters of AGV systems. Willingness to undertake long-term international travel and ability to work under pressure.
- Basic English communication skills.
